With warmer weather comes the need for some beautification. Here what's been happening:
Jake took advantage of Maaco's new-to-the-area deal and got the rust taken off turning it from this...
...to this beautiful Wag.
I think for every reader to fully appreciate this, you need to take a ride. The Honda Civic Wagon seats it's passengers upright with plenty of leg room and surround-view windows for easy visuality. And, it's a one-of-a-kind body style was only produced from '88 to '91. They're difficult to find so when Jake noticed a lonely one not being driven nearby he offered to buy it for an easy $600. Ooh yes. He did. If we can find another one I want one too. Motor swap and a posh pearly paint job with tinted windows would be my dream car. Call me crazy if you like. My car got a new bumper thanks to the Vegas hit-n-run incident. So it's looking nice too.
There's an AMAZING fabric store in Preston where I was finally able to find some water-proof fabric for my remaining dining chairs which will live outside in the summer.

I need to learn to do the piping/sewing stuff like the original...I guess my expectations are too low.
I just thought these next pics were funny. My niece Sienna isn't afraid of much, including putting the moves on my nephew Dax. Don't worry, they're not actually related.
She backed him into a corner and started beating on him. I think he liked it because he kept going back to the corner and waiting for her until she scared him enough for a breakdown.
Ha! Kid's are so entertaining!
Nice work Kara! Can't believe Jake got a car for $600 buckaroo's. You guys always know where to find a deal.
