Some stats:
Weird dreams - Last nights: the baby was a cell phone and I was the only one that could get it/her to stop ringing/crying.
She moves constantly, the ultrasound tech says it means she'll be good at sleeping because she'll wear herself out (fingers crossed).
The heartburn makes me feel like I'm breathing acid.
We got a free crib from the neighbors... it's the only thing we've gotten for her so far, unless you count enlarging her square footage by me buying stretchy waisted jeans.
She does NOT like jogging... just like her mama. She does seem to like yard work, being outside and warm weather.
She wants me to drink milk and eat salads and candy.
She recently went through another growth spurt after I recovered from strep throat. Even Jake, who sees me everyday, couldn't believe it. I think my stomach muscles finally gave it up.
Whenever I have my hand on my belly she kicks it. Last week Jake put his head on my belly and she kept kicking his face. It's weird looking down and seeing my belly move from baby jabs.
It's fun being pregnant even though I've had a little identity crisis from the expansion of my middle. I'm slowly making my peace that I'm becoming a big bellied lady.
Well your in the homestretch now hahah get it stretch... you put pregnant ladies to shame..you still look like your in the hmm is she pregnant phase:)...im pretty sure my belly is bigger than yours right now:) i love that she loves salads and candy :) she is going to be the coolest nesbita ever. You can buy a pack of onsies and some diapers and wipes and youll be good to go, dont mess with buying all the other crap :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I love my little nesbita niece already! I really do. I love hearing about her! I had heartburn with Jude that didn't exactly "burn" but it felt like I had a silk scarf tied tightly around my neck that I couldn't loosen! Ugh - hated it. The only thing that worked for me was taking meds that prevent it (I think it was like pepsid complete or something)cause if I took meds after the discomfort arrived, nothing worked! You look so beautiful, Karalass. Love youuu!
ReplyDeleteBe careful around small insects or they could get caught in the gravitational pull and start orbiting your belly. Jake could probably engineer a little laser defense system attached to your belt to knock them out of the sky.

ReplyDeleteOhhh... cute Kara! You're pregnant! It's suddenly WAY more real now that I found your blog and see pictures of you pregnant! You're adorable. I loved reading about how you're doing and that you're enjoying the little "wee bern" in your belly. Look forward to seeing you at your shower!
