Sitting at the table like a lady. We gave her bits from our food... so far she likes everything we've given her, even ginger from our sushi.
Confetti fell from the ceiling after Gonzaga won and Abby was one of the biggest partiers.
It seemed like Abby grew up a lot this trip. She started making talking sounds a lot more, watching people and smiling. We made a lot more friends than we ever have in the past.
She also started making some new faces, especially involving her lower gums. We both got some black and white Adidas gear at the outlets. Everyone kept thinking she was a boy but that's okay... she looked awesome.
The last weekend we switched hotels... it was $80 cheaper for a nicer one... What?!? They had some heated pools with sand in them and Abby loved it. Her little baby squeaks transformed into real kid laughter. All the older folks at the pool wanted to play with her.

Even though we've had some good times at the Excalibur, at the end of the trip we decided it was time to grow up and move to the family hotels for next year. Walking through the casinos to get to our rooms with a baby felt odd and out of place. I wouldn't have been surprised to win the worst mother award as we walked around the strip one night and it suddenly got late and we were SO far away from our car. I've never walked so fast in my life holding Abby as tight as I could. She seemed to love every minute and stared at everything though. We also realized how long her naps are when there's nothing to do but sit in a hotel room and watch TV. But when the nugget didn't get enough naps she made us pay.
