Well, I never thought I'd blog. It's kind of a weird word and i didn't know what it meant until about 9 months ago. But in the last 2 months whenever I missed my friends or family I went to their blog and it was real, real nice. And since finals are over and I haven't done anything all day I figured I might as well start one.
Ok, I went on a mission to Ireland and got back in march so that's where this little journey begins.
What Ireland looks like
What I look like
What I am

and Who I met

...so there you have it. Missions are amazing, I'll never forget it.
When I got back, Rachel and I and some other pals decided to hike straight up a mountain. It was a lot harder than it looked.

My grandma on Easter wearing easter hair! She may or may not have known she was wearing it at this time.

In June I took a little trip to Switzerland and got 12 USU credit for taking a holiday. Yes!

In a secret underground lookout tower of some old Roman ruins.

Sarah and I got creative

In the Switz

After Switzerland I met my parents in Ireland for a post-mish-tour. After Ireland we went to England which is where my parents are here.

Ok, here's Ireland...in Cork
Me and me ma at the Cliffs of Moher

A couple months after that I went to visit Jordan and Jenny in Milwaukee because I missed them.

So excited for the Kara news. The kids will be thrilled. They love reading blogs. Still can't believe you did it. You must have been really bored at work.

ReplyDeleteI like blogging because its kind of like eavesdropping. You can look at people and they dont even know it. So I am wondering how I can spy on Jenny and Jordan do they have a blog?
ReplyDeleteI love that we are officially blog friends, it is a much stronger bond than that of a mere missionary companion.
