Nesbit Conversations - People Sizes.

Recently, one of my best pals and her boo broke up. She's one of the greatest people I know and I have a hard time understanding how some of the world's most awesome people haven't gotten hitched. Then, how some people who seem fairly average have a million boyfriends and get married and others who are equally attractive and awesome don't.

Jake and I were talking about it and he incitefully explained it like this: People are like clothing sizes. Some people are mediums. A larger portion of the world fit into mediums. Some people are large's or small's but still buy mediums because that's what they want to wear or because they don't realize what size they actually are because every single one of their friends buy medium. Generally, women have a better idea of what size they are and go for that. But men often times don't know because men's sizes are more vague than women's. There are more mediums than xxs/xxl since that's what shop's customers require. So, now all the xxs/xxl people have to find xxs/xxl sizes and have to search in special stores to get it. But, when they find it, they know it's going to fit them perfectly.

There's obviously holes in the analogy as always but still... I feel like I have a better grasp on life thanks to my great parable teller husband.
