Today, when I was supposed to be hard at work, I was chatting to my pal Roxie about life. We talked about how we, and people in general, don't blog about real life as much as the more exciting/glamorous things that happen. It probably gives blog readers the impression that everyone lives awesome, busy, important lives which can be depressing to the average bear who doesn't summer in a million dollar cabin every year or fly to NYC for the weekend to shop in SoHo. (I'm sorry if I offended you glamorous cats out there who really do that stuff).
I suppose I can appreciate that it's not interesting to blog about going to the grocery store because who wants to read about that? Everyone wants the juicy stuff! But either way, I decided that since I've failed to write in a journal for the past 3 years I should blog more than when something fantastic happens to me if not for anything but my own records. Hopefully my resolve will last more the 2 posts.
I still think blog is a weird word.
You are looking mighty fine Kara! Well, I agree with you about the real life stuff. I have tried to do that with my blog. I am sure people find it quite boring but i don't mind. It's really just for my own records. So i wish you the best of luck. p.s. i don't think you could ever write a boring post so go ahead and write, somehow you always make your posts entertaining :)
