7 Weeks.

So, I had to start working again and Jake's had to be doing school stuff a lot more than I thought which means I get to hang out with the nugget more than I thought. Luckily I can work from home. I'm figuring out tricks to be able to work and not feel like a neglectful mother at the same time.

Starting the day out:

A few hours later :) She's so darn cute.
The other nice thing about working from home is not having to get ready

A little more about the Absters.
She's getting cuter and cuter everyday. And partly by cuter I mean more smiles and less crying. Her face expressions are still awesome. She does pretty well at nights, sometimes sleeping from 9 or 10pm until 7am although last night she was up at 1, 3, and 6. She's a little houdini because she can wriggle out of any swaddle or burritofication no matter how tight or how many blankets. Whenever she wakes up at night she's shed her swaddle like a snake sheds it's skin with it still perfectly intact and her laying in the corner all cold and mad. We can't leave her on the couch alone because she uses the same method to scoot along her back and within a minute of grabbing her a bottle she fell off. She can shoot projectile boogers out her nose and sometimes milk as well. She's a good little eater which means she's good with breast/bottle/formula, whatever. We've taken her to a couple Aggie football games and she seems to enjoy them. I think she enjoys being around people in general because she's always better behaved around lots of people then just at home alone with us.

We love every minute with the little nugget and I'm so excited to see more personality come out of her.

  3. We miss that baby girl! Jude still likes to hold the birth announcement you made with all her little funny faces on it... he'll chuckle to himself and point at the different pictures saying, Now Baby Abby is sad, now Baby Abby is happy, now Baby Abby wants touch her ear... ect. He really loves her!
