Jake and I have been discussing this for a couple days now...why do we rake leaves and bag them and put them in the garbage? The only reason I can think to rake them is so I can swan dive into a pile.
I feel like they've actually made our yard look better because you can't see where the grass ends and the dirt (which will hopefully be a patio someday) ends.
Today I awoke to a giant machine driving up and down our street blowing or sucking leaves in the ditches... I'm not sure which. Whatever it was doing it caused teensy pieces of deciduouation residue to stick to my car and infest my back seat that had a window cracked open.
I still love you fall!

ReplyDeleteBy the way, I think the whole throwing away leaves thing must be related to why we get rid of pretty flowers that just happen to be weeds too. Hmmmm... You've given me something to think about.
