Here are some photos.
We managed to get on the sixth row and made friends with the Gonzaga friends who surrounded us. It was a GOOD game and was tight until the end when St Mary's big guys started fouling out.
After watching Gonzaga win their spot to the "big dance" as the sports analysts so lovingly call it, we did a ritual dance and prayer to insure USU would have the same fate.
Today we went shopping to the outlets. Jake bought himself the first pair of bball-type shoes since he was in high school because his old ones lost their sole last week and when we came out, some dumbo left us a little present:
This is me talking to State Farm Insurance. By the way, singing their little jingle does NOT make an agent appear like their commercials misleads.
No note was left, no witness, nothing but my pathetic car looking especially pathetic. It appears the light green (as that's the color scraped along my bumper) SUV parked next to us cut the corner and dragged the front corner of my car with it. The driver, whom I imagine to be a dopey teenager texting "OMG I can't believe your BF cheated on you with your BFF" must've not noticed but did successfully ruin the front of my car and our night. So, we stuffed the bumper into our car, filed a police report and drove to our hotel. All in all, Boo-urns.
The good news is that I'll get a facelift on my bumper which I've been vainly painting myself for the past 2 years trying to cover up the spots with chipped paint. I guess now I just need someone to run into the spoiler on the back.
Oh man, that sucks. That must have been some important text if they didn't notice not only running into your car but dragging it with them.
ReplyDeleteWe are keeping this information from Lynne until after we leave Disneyland tonight. This would ruin her fun. She is in a delicate state after Space Mountain and California Screaming. So sorry... that is not what you want to happen on vacation.
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh I'm mad, who in the heck does that ..... That's Vegas for ya all those sinners.. Jk, hope you managed to still have some fun though!! Poor car, does she have a name? Lol call me if you want to meet up for lunch on your lunch break, you working women.
ReplyDeleteWOW- I've been behind with your news! Crazy! Hopefully overall it was a fun time??? I like your commentary on what the dopey teenager was texting. Too funny!
ReplyDeleteThat sucks so bad. People are ridiculous! Hope Vegas was still a blast!
ReplyDeleteBrook told me about the hit and run but i didn't imagine it to be so terrible! How sad! Sorry Kara... but you seem to keep your spirits high. Looks like you had fun at the WAC tournament :)
