What a twickster

The last few days I've been a nervous nelly because the belly puncher hasn't been at her usual antics. So as the night winds down and I express my nervousness to jake and eat a midnight snack and suddenly the dear b.nugget comes alive and won't stop moving for ... Mm... It's been about two hours now. Right as I'm dozing off I get a bladder shot that wakes me up with a jerk. So here I am, typing a blog post on my phone at 1:30 am because I can't sleep.

Thanks for being considerate baby and easing my nerves. What a good baby.

  2. I like that! "Keep the oven on warm". Cute. I've been thinking a lot about you Karadear. Don't you worry about a thing - you'll be great! Becoming a mama is the coolest. Most people that we love, it's because we've grown to love them over time - because of the things they do or say, etc. But with a baby, it's so awesome because here comes someone that you will love with all your soul INSTANTLY. And not for any other reason than the fact that it's your very own little sweet baby. It's so beautiful. I remember when Jude was born, I felt like I myself had been born again in a way... that I hadn't truly known what unconditional love was until he came along. Of course, we try to love our spouse unconditionally - but that's just it... we have to TRY. And try and try... that's marriage!(: But with your baby, that unconditional love just shows up all on its own. Crazy! Anyway, yes it can still be hard and yes it might take a little while before it sinks in and you really bond, but man! It's incredible. Well Kara! I better give you a call so we can chat rather than leaving ridiculously long comments on your blog, eh? Love youuu!

  3. Kara!! It's nearly our wedding anniversary which means it's nearly time for your little bean to make her grand entrance. I just wanted to let you know i'm thinking of you. It's so exciting. James is getting so big. He has just found his hands and is getting very good at grabbing and reaching out for things. This last few days he has really found his voice, he squeals with pure excitement and then does a good big belly laugh. He's so much fun and great company. I can't wait to her all about your little one. I'll be a regular :) Lots of love, Lorna x
